Local Social Media Manager uses multiple private accounts to inflate likes: ‘It really works, and no one notices!’

Local Social Media Manager has recently been found to be inflating likes with the use of private accounts, despite the fact that it’s really damn obvious.

“It’s not like anyone checks anyway.” the Social Media Manager said.

Having seen other Twitter posts and knowing that good tweets receive likes, they’ve made the decision that a couple more likes on their tweets will mean that they’re among the ‘good tweets’.

“We don’t want to give off a bad impression with only 4 likes,” they explained.

“So I just hop onto my several private accounts to boost up the numbers! I mean, no one can tell, the private accounts can’t even be seen in the list.”

What they’ve failed to realise though is that it is in fact very obvious.

Another Social Media Manager we reached out to to comment asked to remain anonymous, but agreed with our point.

“It’s embarrassing,” they began.

“I just don’t understand why they keep doing it. Of course we can tell – they do it every time! [hahaha]”

They couldn’t explain to Fireball why they feel this is a good idea, but did say they’re committed to it.

“It’s too late to stop now.”
