CLG doctors confirm Knicks diagnosis only 2 years on from MSG acquisition

Medical officials from North American esports team Counter Logic Gaming have today confirmed that the organisation has a terminal case of The Knicks less than two years after being acquired by The Madison Square Garden Company (“MSG”).

Concern was first raised about the League of Legends Championship Series competitors after several symptoms consistent with The Knicks were identified:

Fans of the storied League of Legends team had hoped the malaise would be lifted after losing mid laner Choi “Huhi” Jae-hyun, also know by the nickname “He took up an important import slot”, after he experienced two good splits amid a sea of mediocrity.

CLG had tried a drastic experimental treatment administed by Dr. BioDaddy to allay the condition, but the diagnosis was confirmed when the team replaced Huhi with a German model of Trevor “Stixxay” Hayes. This decision has thus far not proved as fruitful, and has been likened to the performances of either half of PewFat in Super Smash Bros. Melee singles competitions.

Treatment is allegedly set to commence for CLG in the coming weeks, as the organisation are reportedly hoping to save the team before they go the way of their male CS:GO team. Rumours that CLG Red had qualified for the IEM Katowice Challenge only as a measure of quarantine so far remain unsubstantiated.

CLG could not be reached by Fireball Esports for comment before publication, though sources near the club said this was due to the entire team singing Kumbaya with Weldon Green instead of answering messages. More to come on the situation as Counter Logic Gaming continues not to develop.
